“Ferry Crossing” 16×20 Kodak Resin Coated silver gelatin paper. This Mississippi ferry at Baton Rouge, Louisiana gradually declined in use as the traffic used the new Hwy 190 bridge, completed in 1940, and finally disappeared with the completion of the Interstate 10 bridge. The fare was collected on the Baton Rouge side of the river and was 10 cents for pedestrians and 25 cents for cars.
